University of New Mexico HexDex Project
The University of New Mexico built a pretty impressive project called the “HexDex” which let’s users navigate through space by moving around on a custom built multi-directional deck. Via added infrared controls users can also zoom around, blast asteroids, and explore the far reaches of this immersive environment.
When designing their project, the team of UNM‘s Arts Lab selected our Vistique FC (Full Contrast) rear projection screen for its incredible viewing angle, elasticity, and large format seamless capabilities. This exhibit uses a single 43′ long section of Vistique FC.
