Nike – NYC
For this project we provided Nike with a custom EZtouch Display solution that utilized two 52″ transparent holographic touch screens coupled with in-house designed interactive content that allowed consumers to view 16 different shoes in 3D while reading about specific features and details pertaining to each shoe. This was a very unique project in that we had to custom fabricate a self containing housing unit to client specifications that housed all of the short-throw projectors, computing, air filtration, and remote access hardware safely inside.
In all, 16 shoes were fully reverse-mirror modeled from scratch in 3D along with creating the entire content framework, hardware and finish. The display was located prominently in the main atrium of Nike‘s flagship Niketown NYC store.
Check out the video below and pay close attention to the segment where the LED shoe wall in the back is visible through the screen itself. Notice how none of the projected content is disturbed? This is the power of EZtouch Display as it pertains to ignoring combative lighting.
